Innovation and research - Patents and awards of Teseo compressed air distribution
At Teseo we design and project using the most modern three-dimensional CAD system combined with flexible and expedient methods. We face each project searching for innovation, considering the environmental and ergonomic impacts. Moreover, we try to make the most of the DESIGN, by optimizing the production process and by assuring quality and functionality.
We co-operate with external offices, with university departments but most of all with our customers. They help us and drive our innovation by discussing their necessities and experiences.
Each patent requires a lot of technical work, for the carrying out of the technical patented drawings, for the evaluation of the precedence, for the compilation of our technical requests from the reference institute, and afterwards for the maintenance and the legal protection of our rights and our customers.
The Certification and the homologation of our products are essential for us, the engagement in collaborating with certification institutes is constant as we prefer, even if we are sure about quality and safety of our production, to get approvals in a serious and open way.
Teseo designs according to the standards UNI ISO for planning as UNI 4820, UNI 5456 and others.
PATENTS
A patent is at the origin of Teseo design philosophy and we are constantly searching for new patented solutions. Our patents are issued to protect the creativeness of our technical staff and the reliance of our distribution network together with all our customers who are looking for innovation and quality of the products purchased.
At Teseo we consider that the patents are vitally important, and are the only distinguishing marks of the innovative inventors and manufacturers. Today our R & D Technical office, are managing various patents registered in different countries and developing new patented products also for Design.
To make our philosophy more clearly identified and original, Teseo has registered its own trade mark Worldwide.
AWARDS
Teseo Srl has won various awards, which demonstrate the validity of the innovative solutions presented by the company. Teseo has always been devoted to research and development.
1992 'Best New Product Award' at Fluidtrans Compomac, Milan
Novelty award at Fluidtrans compomac, Milan. Teseo receives an important recognition from the well known Italian trade fair in the fluid power sector: the award for novelty of the year for the HBS system.
1996 Premio 'Product of the year'
2000 'Best New Product Award' at Fluidtrans Compomac, Milan
For the second time in the same decade, the Fluidtrans Compomac Trade Show of Milan awards a product of Teseo. AP receives the 'Unique Novelty Award' for its sector in year 2000.
2001 IF DESIGN Award.
The Industrie Forum of the Hannover Messe ( www.hannovermesse.com) appoints AP system among the winners of the prestigious ECOLOGY AWARD for its ergonomics, energy efficiency, aesthetics and safety ( www.ifdesign.de ).
2006 Plant Engineering Product Of The Year Award
The best of 2006’s product innovation are presented in the 19th annual PLANT ENGINEERING Product of the Year balloting. Picking this year’s winners was in the readers’ hands. Literally.
This year’s balloting was conducted electronically. Each of PLANT ENGINEERING’s qualified subscribers – those who have told they buy/specify responsibilities in their plants – received an email with a link to this year’s ballot. There was also be a copy of the pages on which the products appear for readers to review while placing their votes. Voting took just a few clicks, but the voting was important. For 19 years, Product of the Year has been a prestigious honor bestowed only on those manufacturers who have created the best new ideas that make plant management better, faster and smarter. The products were initially reviewed by the panel of plant management experts, and they narrowed the field to 125 finalists in 17 categories.
The votes were tabulated to pick gold, silver and bronze winners in each category. The one product with the highest single vote total received the Grand Award. Teseo's AP54 system won the silver award the the the compressed air category.
2006 Techni-Show Innovatie Award
This award was presented during the Techni-Show 2006 trade show at Jaarbeurs Utrecht. Techni-Show was held from March 16 to 20.
2006 Automechanika Innovation Award
The Automechanika is the world's leading trade fair for the automobile sector and brings together over 4,500 exhibitors, almost 80 percent of them from abroad. Messe Frankfurt expects over 160,000 trade visitors to attend, around 40 percent form outside Germany. During the trade fair the Innovation competition was held. The criteria for being chosen as finalists for the Award were originality, functionality, quality and environmental compatibility. The 13 Products from 8 categories, chosen as finalist were displayed at a special Innovation award stand. Teseo's AP54 system was on display and recieved much attention.
2006 4th Edition Of The Comfort & Design Award
The Comfort & Design Award, instituted by Mostra Convegno Expocomfort and Expobagno under the sponsorship of ADI (Associazione per il Disegno industriale), is aimed at all exhibitors, Italian and international at the two exhibitions. The award are intended to focus attention on product that fulfill the criteria of innovation ,Functionality, Usability. The Award is being presented for the fourth time, following it's constantly growing popularity with industry professionals. You could say that it's become an institution, a consistent event that's keenly awaited by all exhibitors who come to Mostra Convegno Expocomfort to exhibit innovative products from the perspectives of both production and the consumer. The award, at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort and Expobagno, both of which are being staged at the new Fiera Milano exhibition complex in Rho.
Teseo was awarded the Comfort & Design award for the AP54 product. It was chosen from a list of finalists 19.
